Drywave Event Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket to Drywave (the “Event”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Attendance at the Event constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

 

IMPORTANT: Drywave is a 21+ event. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older and present valid government-issued identification upon request.

 

1. Ticket Policy

All ticket purchases are final and non refundable. Drywave does not provide refunds for any reason including but not limited to schedule conflicts, travel disruptions, personal circumstances, speaker cancellations, programming updates, or dissatisfaction with the Event experience.

Tickets may be transferred up to twenty-one (21) days before the Event in accordance with Drywave ticket transfer procedures. Drywave reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify the Event due to circumstances beyond its control including weather, venue conditions, public safety considerations, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases Drywave may determine remedies including rescheduling, credit toward a future event, or other solutions at its sole discretion.

2. Age Requirement and Identification

Drywave is a private event restricted to individuals who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older. By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending the Event, you represent and warrant that you are at least twenty-one (21) years of age on the date of the Event. Drywave reserves the right to require presentation of valid government-issued photo identification at any time before or during the Event to verify age and identity. Any individual who is unable to provide satisfactory proof of age, who provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information regarding their age, or who otherwise fails to comply with this age requirement may be denied entry or removed from the Event without refund, credit, or compensation. Drywave reserves the right to refuse admission, cancel registrations, or revoke credentials at its sole discretion for any violation of this policy.

Failure to satisfy the Event's age requirement does not entitle the purchaser to a refund, exchange, credit, or transfer.

3. Assumption of Risk

Attendance at Drywave involves participation in a live event environment including exhibitions, tastings, beverage sampling, demonstrations, educational sessions, hospitality experiences, and experiential activations.

By attending the Event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance including risks of personal injury, illness, allergic reactions, adverse reactions to beverages or ingredients, property damage, or other harm.

4. Consumption of Beverages and Products at Your Own Risk

Drywave features non alcoholic beverages, functional beverages, and consumable products that may include ingredients such as botanicals, adaptogens, nootropics, caffeine, herbal extracts, sweeteners, or other compounds that may affect individuals differently.

All consumption of beverages or products at the Event is voluntary and at your own risk.

You are solely responsible for reviewing ingredient information, understanding your own health conditions, sensitivities, allergies, intolerances, and any potential interactions with medications or substances you may be using.

Drywave does not screen or evaluate attendee health conditions and makes no representations regarding the suitability or safety of any product for any individual. By consuming any product at the Event, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • You assume full responsibility for any effects, reactions, or outcomes

  • Individual responses to functional or specialty ingredients may vary significantly

  • Certain ingredients may produce physiological or psychological effects

 

Drywave shall not be liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, adverse effects, illness, or other outcomes arising from the consumption of any beverage or product at the Event.

5. Products Containing Trace Amounts of Alcohol

Certain beverages featured at the Event may contain up to 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV) or other trace amounts of alcohol as permitted by law. Attendees are responsible for reviewing product information and determining whether consumption aligns with their personal preferences, health conditions, recovery programs, religious beliefs, or other considerations.

 

6.Health Conditions and Product Suitability

Certain products featured at the Event may not be appropriate for pregnant or nursing individuals, individuals with certain medical conditions, or individuals taking prescription medications. Attendees are solely responsible for determining whether participation or consumption is appropriate for their circumstances.

 

7. Physical Activities and Assumption of Risk

Participation in any fitness, walking, running, wellness, recovery, or physical activity is voluntary and undertaken at the attendee's own risk. Attendees are solely responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating in any activity offered at the Event. Drywave shall not be liable for any injury, illness, medical condition, or other harm arising from participation in such activities.

 

8. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Drywave, its organizers, affiliates, sponsors, partners, venue operators, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction, adverse reaction to beverages or ingredients, loss, damage, theft, property damage, financial loss, or other harm of any kind arising from or related to attendance at the Event.

You agree to release and hold harmless Drywave and all affiliated parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the Event.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Drywave and its affiliates for any claim arising out of or related to the Event shall not exceed the amount paid by the attendee for their ticket.

Drywave shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

 

10. Privacy Policy


By registering for the Event, attendees acknowledge and agree to Drywave’s Privacy Policy governing the collection, use, and protection of personal information. A complete Privacy Policy is available on the Drywave website and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

 

11. Communications Consent


By registering for the Event, attendees consent to receive event-related communications regarding registration, schedules, event updates, logistics, and attendee services. Attendees may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

 

12. Educational Content and Wellness Disclaimer

Drywave provides educational programming, panel discussions, demonstrations, and informational content related to alcohol alternatives, wellness, behavioral health, nutrition, and modern social culture. All information presented at the Event is for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing presented at Drywave constitutes medical, psychological, or health advice, diagnosis, or treatment, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Participation in sessions or conversations with speakers does not create any professional or clinical relationship.

Attendees should consult appropriate professionals before making decisions related to alcohol consumption, abstinence, health, or lifestyle changes.

 

13. Exhibitor Demonstrations and Hospitality Activations

Beverage tastings, mixology demonstrations, product sampling, and hospitality experiences conducted within exhibitor booths or sponsored activations are operated and controlled by the exhibiting company or vendor. Attendees who choose to participate do so voluntarily and at their own risk. Drywave does not supervise, control, or assume responsibility for the conduct, safety practices, ingredients, preparation methods, or products used by exhibitors. Any injury, reaction, dissatisfaction, or claim arising from participation in exhibitor activities is solely the responsibility of the exhibitor or vendor.

 

14. Exhibitor and Vendor Responsibility

Drywave does not manufacture, sell, endorse, or control products or services offered by exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, or speakers. Any interaction, consultation, purchase, or consumption is solely between the attendee and the exhibitor or vendor. Drywave disclaims all liability for claims arising from products, services, advice, or experiences provided by third parties.

 

15. Emergency Medical Assistance

If an attendee experiences a medical emergency during the Event, Drywave and its representatives may seek emergency medical assistance on the attendee's behalf. The attendee remains solely responsible for all resulting medical costs, treatment expenses, transportation charges, and other related expenses.

16. No Guarantee of Results

Drywave is an educational and experiential event intended to introduce attendees to a variety of products, ideas, and approaches to modern social drinking culture and wellness. Drywave does not guarantee any specific outcomes, behavioral changes, or results. Individual experiences and outcomes may vary significantly.

 

17. Photography, Video, and Media Release

The Event may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. By attending Drywave you grant Drywave and its authorized partners the unrestricted right to capture and use your image, likeness, voice, or appearance in photography, video, promotional materials, advertising, digital media, and future marketing without compensation. All official photography, video, and recorded content from the Event remains the property of Drywave.

 

18. Content Use and Commercial Filming

Photography and video for personal, non-commercial use may be permitted unless otherwise restricted by event staff. Commercial photography, filming, live streaming, media interviews, promotional use, or broadcast from the Event requires prior written approval from Drywave. Unauthorized commercial activity, solicitation, filming, or promotion within the Event venue may result in removal from the Event without refund. All Drywave trademarks, branding, event names, logos, programming formats, and visual assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of Drywave and may not be used without written consent.

 

19. Event Credentials and Wristbands

All attendees must always wear their official Drywave wristband or event credential while inside the Event venue or participating in any Drywave programming. Entry to the Event or any associated activity may be denied without proper credentials. Lost or removed wristbands may not be replaced at the discretion of event staff. Drywave reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals who do not comply with credential requirements.

 

20. Code of Conduct

Drywave is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. Attendees must behave appropriately and comply with all event policies and venue rules. Prohibited behavior includes harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, unsafe behavior, excessive intoxication, property damage, unauthorized solicitation, or violations of venue policies or local laws. Drywave reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual from the Event without refund for behavior deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.

 

21. Participation in Event Activities

Drywave reserves the right to refuse participation in any presentations, experiences, or other activations for safety, operational, capacity, or logistical reasons.

 

22. Physical Activities and Assumption of Risk

Participation in any fitness, walking, running, wellness, recovery, or physical activity is voluntary and undertaken at the attendee's own risk. Attendees are solely responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating in any activity offered at the Event. Drywave shall not be liable for any injury, illness, medical condition, or other harm arising from participation in such activities.

 

23. Outside Food and Beverage

Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the Event venue unless required for medical reasons.

Food and beverage service within the venue will be provided by authorized venue partners or approved vendors.

 

24. Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings. Skinfluence is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

 

25. Ticket Resale

Tickets may not be resold or distributed for commercial purposes without the written consent of Drywave.

Drywave reserves the right to invalidate tickets that are resold in violation of these terms.

26. Accessibility and Accommodations


Attendees requiring accommodations due to disability, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions are encouraged to contact Drywave in advance. Drywave will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee all accommodations.

 

27. No Endorsement


The participation of speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, brands, or partners does not constitute endorsement by Drywave of any product, service, treatment, claim, opinion, or recommendation.

 

28. Program and Speaker Changes

Drywave reserves the right to modify speakers, programming, event layouts, demonstrations, schedules, and event experiences at any time without liability. Speaker participation, exhibitor attendance, demonstrations, and event experiences are not guaranteed.

 

29. Intellectual Property

Drywave, Open Current Media, event names, logos, trademarks, graphics, content, materials, and related intellectual property are owned by their respective owners and may not be used, reproduced, distributed, or exploited without prior written consent.

 

30. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Event and all associated content, programming, products, demonstrations, experiences, materials, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Drywave disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

 

31. Force Majeure

Drywave shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including weather events, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, labor disputes, venue issues, or other force majeure events

Compliance with Venue Policies

All attendees must comply with venue rules, safety policies, and security procedures established by the host venue.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event.

 

Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Event or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration rather than in court. Arbitration shall take place in Davidson County, Tennessee.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration against Drywave.

Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to the Event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
